The story of MOED MEDIA GROUP starts with our founder, Lebogang Mokubela. Back in 2012, he started working in the marketing world, working with big names like 8.ta (Telkom Mobile), Telkom Business and Lenovo South Africa. But he had bigger dreams – which led him to start his own creative agency, Lemok Agency, in 2015.

The real game-changer came in 2022. While working with a funeral services company, Lebogang spotted a huge opportunity in lead generation for financial services. This insight led to the birth of MOED.

Along the way, Lebogang became a prominent voice in the digital marketing space, particularly on TikTok where he’s built a following of over 25,000 followers. This deep understanding of TikTok’s ecosystem has translated into exceptional results for our clients, as we leverage the platform’s unique advantages for lead generation.

We chose the name “MOED” – it’s a Hebrew word meaning “appointed time” – because everything fell into place at just the right moment. We saw a gap in South Africa’s financial services sector, and we knew exactly how to fill it. Today, we’re using our paid advertising expertise to connect South Africans with the financial help they need, whether that’s debt review or insurance services.
